This cocktail is one thing of a vintage cocktail that was dusted off and written up first by Gary Regan in The Bartender’s Bible after which in an editorial by Terry Sullivan. It affords tequila the Negroni treatment, which ends in one thing intriguing, smart, and a stress-free substitute to a margarita.


  • Take a look at Kitchen-Accredited


  • 1 1/2 ounces

    reposado tequila

  • 1 ounce


  • 1/2 ounce

    dry vermouth (I suggest Dolin dry)

  • 1/2 ounce

    sweet vermouth (I suggest Cocchi Vermouth di Torino)

  • 1 bolt

    Angostura bitters

  • Lemon twist, for garnish

  1. Occupy a tumbler with beaten ice, add the total substances and drag them collectively to combine. Garnish with a twist of lemon.
